Tasks:

1.     Memory verse:  Shemot (Exodus) 34:6,

2.     Cut out the Tav on the attached page, and paste it on cardboard. You now know all the letters! Well done!

3.     Would the things that happened to Shin in his daydream happen in real life? Why or why not? What should we do with religious items that are not good enough to use any more?

4.     Write down a daydream that you have on the Shabbat. (But remember not to write on the Shabbat! Write the daydream on another day J)

5.     Colour in the Torah Scrolls that we see on Shabbat.

6.     Colour in the Swordfish, the Sea urchin and the Salmon below. Which is which? Label them. You could also ask your parents to photocopy more of the pages below and after colouring them, cut them out and paste them on a large sheet of paper which you have coloured to look like the sea. Also draw, colour and cut out sea plants, and you can have beautiful fish art to remind you of this story.

7.     The theme of the Parasha is gifts. Think of a gift you gave someone, or that someone gave you, and write a story about it. Is it difficult to give someone a gift? How about receiving a gift?

8.     Learn the Hebrew days of the week on the last page, and do the word search.
